01The project

Indulge in creativity, embrace community, and savor harmony with nature.
  • Land

Organic growing, our own compost, water‑saving irrigation and permaculture‑inspired ideas. Carcaixent is the cradle of the orange: the first commercial grove was planted here in 1781.

  • Table

Three meals a day, Mediterranean at heart, with vegetables from the garden whenever we can. We cook, eat and trade stories together.

  • Culture

Live music, creative workshops and percussion as the light goes. A place for making things with your hands, not only for looking.

02A day at Campo Tucán

The sun sets the schedule.

We work in the morning to dodge the heat, eat late and unhurried, and leave the afternoon to whoever it belongs to.

  1. Breakfast under the vine

Coffee, bread, fruit off the trees. The vine‑covered courtyard is shady from the first hour.

  2. Into the grove

Planting and watering, pruning citrus, mulching, composting, looking after paths and irrigation channels. A few steady hours.

  3. Lunch, all together

The centre of the day. Seasonal cooking, often vegetarian; tell us in advance and we’ll adapt to your diet.

Small orange cakes cooling on a cloth
  4. Hammock hours

Read, nap, cycle between the orange trees, walk to the river or drive to the beach. Nobody asks.

  5. Sunset over the orange groves

From the terrace, with something to drink. Some nights there’s music; others, only crickets.

03From tree to hand

Pick your own mandarins.

On weekends in season we open the gates. A walk through the orchard, the story of how we grow everything organically, a drink and a bite, and you take home whatever you pick.

05Your hosts

Antonio & Harm

We’re a couple and this is home, in the countryside of Carcaixent. In November 2024 we planted the first rows of the garden, and Campo Tucán has been growing steadily since: an eco‑farm built around sustainability, community and creativity.

Antonio plays percussion. Harm, a designer, experiments with local and seasonal recipes. Together we host workshops, live music and long lunches.

06From the land to the table

Nothing goes to waste.

Peel gets candied, pulp goes into cakes and what’s left returns to the compost. We’ve been making things from our own fruit for years.
